The "Rocky" icon made the announcement on the season two premiere of the reality show, "The Family Stallone."

"After long, hard consideration, your mother and I have decided, time to move on and leave the state of California permanently, and we’re going to go to Florida," Sylvester told his three daughters: Scarlet, 21, Sistine, 25, and Sophia, 27 – referring to his wife of 26 years, Jennifer Flavin.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' wife, Casey DeSantis, welcomed the Stallone family to Florida in a message on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Friday.

"Welcome to the Free State of Florida!" Casey wrote alongside a clip of Stallone's conversation with his daughters.

"In addition to respecting and protecting your God-given, constitutional right to be free, you can also buy toothpaste without having an armed guard in CVS unlock it for you," she added.

In 2021, the Rambo actor purchased a sprawling $35.4 million home in Palm Beach, according to the Palm Beach Daily News.

Sly’s new Palm Beach home sits on approximately 1.5 lakefront acres, facing over 250 feet of beach with a dock, per the outlet.

If I'm spending $35.4 mill I'm damn sure buying more than 1.5 acres of land with it.

ETA: I'm well aware that is not at all the point of this thread.

Hey there, I’m Sly Stallone. Telling you, to watch Expendables 4. I know what you may be thinking…”there were three of them before this??” I know I can’t believe it either. This one is different because it has a girl in it. Don’t worry, we didn’t bang her because we’re too old, but you can look at her nice boobs.

Most Italian and Jewish New Yorkers move to Florida when they turn 70...it's the law.

How much will CA try to extort in exit fees?

They could tax his panerais and he'd be broke.

So, Stallone's 1.5 acre property is worth over $35 million, but Mar-a-Lago is only worth half that?

I met him when he was filming something in Nola in 2010ish. He was pretty cool. Mostly talked about all the Tulane and Loyola chicks he was banging while in town.

I thought it was widely known that the Uber elite have to own property in Florida and spend a certain amount of time there in order to get an incredible tax break from the IRS

Sounds like he is taking us to the next level, but if I were part of the elite wealthy getting squeezed to pay taxes on every penny I earned and every asset I worked my arse off to own, I would get the frick out as well
