Obviously Beard on beam stands out. What other changes would you have made? I thought bars and floor were the right lineups. I’m still not sold on Sierra on beam and I’m not sure about vault.

Bars- landings
Beam - AJ in the second spot. I would love to see Dunne get a shot

It has to be the way Jay has them to train bars. He once said they don't focus on doing all routines every day. The landings need to be the focus going forward. Not a problem for Oklahoma. They work at it daily.

we're the #2 in the nation and haven't had THAT complete meet yet.
This road score might cement us as the #2 seed.
If they can tweak their training appraoch and get the girls to focus on landings, then they can challenge for the natty I believe that in all of my heart.
idk if the web series is causing a distraction this year, or if it just expectations, but if they can find the focus and block out the noise, then the sky is the limit.

I know tonight was more Florida overscoring and LSU underscoring, but a 9.80 for Aleah on beam seems like a gift. I missed Annie’s beam, but with a 9.675 was she that much worse than Aleah??

I'm still perplexed Brock vault isn't usable this year, she was really good last year, had the best vault at gym 101 and is essentially not seen from much again.
On beam they need to keep Jeffrey at the 2 spot. Move Aleah up to the 3 spot and have Konnor and Haleigh be 5 and 6. I also propose they adjust Ballards beam dismount. We have to put out a routine she can hit the dismount with some type of regularity. I know I beat a dead horse but .05 of a point here and there from routines over the course of a meet all add up.

I wonder if chase is a mental thing now. Just throw out cammy and see how it goes. Kj won’t score high at finals no matter if she hits or not. No fulls in in lineup.

First, the home scoring for Florida was ridiculous. They scored a 49.6 on vault and didn’t stick a single vault. What a joke.
It’s time to change Aleah’s series on beam to one layout step out. She doesn’t need two. Annie needs to be out. I’m not mad at Sierra. She’s been clutch many times. I would love if she had a more stickable dismount but it’s got to be too late in the season for that type of change.
Bars…where are the sticks? It’s getting comical at this point. Florida missed two handstands completely, had to recast, and they still score what we score. The judges saw those misses.

I agree with him on the scoring, but he has to know there are big problems with beam overall and sticking landings on everything.
