But I keep seeing the meme repeated that Fani Willis going down means the Trump prosecution is over.
Why would that be?
Charlatans creating misleading content for the echo chamber.
The secret ingredient?

Over? Not necessarily.
But it is dead for this election season and any prosecutor taking on this case would have to look long and hard at their chances before pushing forward.
It may be safer to cut their losses than push forward with a tough case which has already had issues.

(I think this case is trash and I hope it does not go forward, just an fyi)

They should probably invest in QuickBooks or something else to handle it.
I did this for 8 years. Client management software does it, too.
I think it's just the nature of the business. If you're in a normal business, you're dealing with inventory, sales tax, and all sorts other stuff you have to account for on a day to day basis. When you're in a law office, it's not that burdensome and leads to complacency and laziness. then catching up is difficult, and it snowballs.

The case was set to go with Wade as prosecutor for roughly Super Tuesday.
If Wade and Willis get tossed, which is very likely, it gets reassigned to another prosecutor. Given that the prosecutor is likely outside of the Fulton County DA office, they would have to be chosen and get up to speed.
A hot potato case like this likely can’t be winged by a prosecutor being parachuted in to take over, which means a delay to familiarize themselves.
Given how busy most court dockets are, this likely kicks it past November.

You think the left wing machine won't have a prosecutor ready to go tomorrow?

I'm eagerly waiting for Fani to come out with a statement that, she's black and that her Daddy taught her to have a black man come over in the middle of the night to protect her from roving bands of white supremacessss looking to kill her cuz the color of her skin and that it's ok to lie on the witness stand about her relationship time frames cuz the same roving bands of white supremacesss in the justice system.

Can’t be in the Fulton County DA office, which means it likely gets turned over to the AG of Georgia.
Current AG is appointed by Governor Nathan Deal, which nominally makes him a Republican and not a pure Dem operative.
He’d have to either take the case himself or choose someone in his office to take over, preferably someone with RICO experience. That person may not exist.

3 reasons...
A) GA is still a mostly red state outside of Atlanta... so the next DA to get the case... or even the state AG... will be a lot less likely to want to continue this case
B) time is running short to get this to trial prior to the election... putting a new prosecutor on the case now all but definitely puts it beyond November since the new prosecutor would have to get up to speed on a case involving 19 co-defendants
C) appeals on this motion's result... no matter which way the judge rules... will keep kicking the can down the road... possibly putting the trial date past November on its own

Her relationship with Wade and now her lying on the witness stand is going to cause big problems for her, procedurally or criminally, long term. However, that's not going to stop Trump's case from moving forward. There are two other special prosecutors under contract by the DA's office, the case will likely be moved to Ms. Cross as the SP. But the case will move forward.

Geofencing is only reliable when catching criminals not in the club . Unreliable when following Biden ballot mules or Soros DAs out to get Trump . COME ON MAN !

Given the relationship between Willis and Wade, it can be argued that she chose to move forward in prosecution because it would benefit him. Which means indirect benefits for the other two.
They may end up DQed through no fault of their own based on who hired them.

So the whole theory that the case will go away revolves around Willis's entire office and Special Prosecutors being recused/dq'd?
