At this point you’re looking at a Draymond caliber of player. A winning player who does all the dirty work, someone you have to have on a championship team

Like somebody said 2 1/2 yrs ago...when he had trouble "walking & chewing gum"...he's gonna end up being a MUCH better offensive player...than Draymond will ever be.

Peak Draymond was

14ppg
7.4 assists
49% FG%
39% 3pt%

Yep...he was a solid top 5 player in the league that ONE year. But his "peak" only lasted that ONE year. I never quite figured out why his 3-pt shot basically disappeared.

Good little start post ASB. Herb was putting out cases on the whole Rocket roster and big Husky bludgeoned them.

I mean there’s perspectives to everything. He was also playing with steph curry and klay thompson in their prime. Two of the best shooters ever. Also not sure if this was also when KD played with them. Defenses purposefully didn’t even care to guard him because of the other offensive firepower on the team. Meaning he was literally wide arse open on majority of shots.

My observations:

Zion continues to have a terrible whistle. Like I can't fathom it

Trey Murphy just looks so close. All of his 3s were wide af and God bless the first 2 or 3 were halfway down. If he can turn it back into the old trey Pels are gonna run teams out the gym.

CJ is in his whole bag rn. Did whatever he wanted.

I'm so glad folks loooooove sengeun. JV made him his absolute bitch tonight. If you have to make him work on defense he's trash on offense. He's too soft.

Jose and Brooks were talking to each other during 2 ft attempts and brooks absolutely gave Jose a shoulder after the last ft attempt. Brooks stayed a bitch the whole night.

Herb is talking trash. After a couple of made 3s he was talking to his defender. fricking love it.

Zion looks like a totally different player than he did during the start of the season.

These last 20 plus games are for fine tuning shite and getting ready for the playoff run. PELS ARENT COMING SONS. THEYRE ALREADY HERE.

Not really a fan of Draymond...but he was in the perfect place at the perfect time. And the yr he shot 39% from 3...he was "perfect" for the Warriors small ball offense.
He woulda been just average for any other team with a different system.

BTW: His great ability to set picks to free up his shooters...and his passing ability are his 2 biggest assets. IF...we play them in the playoffs...I would definitely put Herb on Draymond & let Draymond set all the picks he wanted to set...which would be pretty much "0" since he would be bringing Herb "into play" and no GSW shooter wants Herb on them...off a Draymond pick.

Pels only took 6 shots that weren't 3s or inside the paint.

Beautiful work.

On the night Mr. Midrange doesn’t play? Nah must just be a coincidence

Finished 7th in MVP voting that year and 2nd in DPOY...never a fan of his...but that particular year...he was VERY good. Many thought he shoulda finished higher in MVP vote and I was one of them...despite never liking the guy.

He was never even top 10. The true definition of a superstar is that you put him on a bad team and he can still get them to the playoffs. He could have never done that. Superstar has been thrown around way too much recently. There are really only like 4-5 true superstars in the NBA. Draymond was never a superstar so therefore never top 5

Yea the exact shots that will be taken away by teams in the playoffs. BI’s value goes up extremely come playoff time. People are quick to forget BI against Phoenix. In the playoffs we aren’t gonna be facing Sengun and other shitty defensive players that Houston has. They have 2 plus defenders on their team.

He may have been one of the most valuable players in the league that year, but that is because of where he was playing.

At no point in time has Draymond ever been a top 10 player in a vacuum. He’s a role player, at times he’s an elite role player, but a role player nonetheless, which means his value is tied directly to the players surrounding him. IMO, a player like that cannot be “top 10”.

- Pels are 5-2 when Zion attempts at least 20 shots

- Pels are 2-1 when CJ attempts at least 20 shots

- Pels are 6-8 when BI attempts at least 20 shots
