The team is really pulling it together right now. Can always fix a few landings to have more sticks, but this is the best I've seen them perform consistently since our 2019 team.

How many years has OU been number 1? Its time someone knocks them off. Same with softball

BS, there are judges evaluating and scoring the performers. A top athlete gets the benefit over a lesser talent. Very subjective

But aren't scores themselves based on what judges think or feel? At least to some degree. I know I've seen people complain about being robbed in the scores quite often.


very little.. Each routine starts with a possible point value, or start value... based on required skills, bonus skills, difficulty, etc. There are deductions for things like not pointing toes, over or under rotating, and of course not sticking the landing. 6 People from each team compete. The low score is dropped. There are a possible 50 points per event. so a 198 means ... 198 of a possible 200.

If you have never been to a meet, they are fun. My wife and daughter go to every home meet. I tag a long a lot of the time. It is family friendly, affordable, etc. It moves fast, and there is always something going on. Very Competitive. 2 hours in and out.

So what's the deal with Dunne? Is she just not good enough to get into the rotation? I know she comes in from time to time in spot situations.
