Bears win 10-0 in 5 innings

Loup only threw like 50 pitches. Not even sure he is burned for Saturday

I know baseball is a weird sport but Acadiana didn’t look anywhere close to a team that should be in the state semis

Guy on 2nd, two outs for Rummel. Ball deep in the hole at short, SS makes the throw to first, runner safe, but the runner on 2nd doesn’t stop and is gunned down at the plate. Bad send

I don’t follow Louisiana HS sports but I assume the split also watered down the playoffs for Baseball like it did Football in each classification?

Surprising. Doug Neill was a heady ball player and a smart dude.

My observation: for how much baseball kids play nowadays - year round, sometimes 200 games a year - the skill level has not risen.

Tons of walks, poor decisions in the field and on the bases, not getting bunts down, just poor fundamentals and bad baseball considering how good it should be with all the reps they get.

I’m also spoiled by the pace of the MLB and even college games with the new rules. High school games drag on and on.

STM was in the semifinals throwing a D1 signee and they threw more balls than strikes. Just bad baseball.

Thought the same...

Bullinger even said he was surprised he sent him.
