Kid pitched a great game then threw it away by acting the way he did afterwards. Bowing, waiving good bye, then scream and hollers at STM, before not shaking a lot of hands in the line.

Cmon kid. You’re going to regret showing your arse after a phenomenal job today.

Seems to be celebrated by some here

ETA: I’ve seen baseball become trashier and trashier in the last 10 years.

Sounds like Latino has resigned from BM. We’ll see what happens to the head coach soon I’m sure.

I thought he was retiring. I think he was looking to retire a few years ago. If retirement, I don't think we see any change at head coach. If resignation, I think the head coach position is in jeopardy. Even if not this year, I don't think Lupo makes it longer.

I disagree

Overall, I haven’t seen basketball or football get more showy or trashy than it was before

If anything, football seems to be less showy than the 80s/90s was. Baseball has hit hyperdrive with it

I’m guessing it’s likely linked to the heavy influx of different culture it has gotten recently. The world baseball classic looks like a damn rock show circus compared to what baseball was before

i agree

the HS sports emulate what they see in the pro/college leagues. College football doesnt have the university of Miami or some of the other teams of the 802/90s like OU....so you see lot less

Baseball has seen a huge influx of latin culture and also a lot more "entertainment" at the pro level to try and get viewers....so now you see it trickle down

on another subject.....SWLA has once again punched way above its weight

Barbe
Sam Houston
St Louis
Iowa
South Beau
Dequincy

all in the Semis and 2 have already clinched a trip to the ship.

Pound for pound best baseball in the state in calcasieu parish and immediate surrounding area. I know it's mostly 3-3a district and Barbe, Sam, Sulphur district with DQ. Might not win the 'ships every year but consistently getting to final 4/8 almost every year for the past 10+

it really is crazy when you think that there is only 250k in the whole metro area, only 200k in the parish.

i know all the schools that continue to get there, especially Barbe, Sam Houston, St Louis, South Beau all have amazing coaches. I dunno much about the others but Iowa and Dequincy have been getting there multiple times now so their coaches have to be considered great too.

3-3a and 3-5a are just crazy districts.

3-5a - barbe, sam houston, sulphur all in 1 plus acadiana. has has atleast 2 teams in semi like 3 years in a row. Has chance for 2 in the ship.

3-3a- has South Beau, St Louis, Iowa,Kinder(moving down now), Westlake, Jennings, LCCP. has had 2 in the semi like last 3 years also, has 2 in the ships.

The number of brawls and gloating moves in football and hoops have risen a great deal at field level you really see and hear it.
