Sulphur's sight lines are atrocious. You have to stand behind the dugouts in the sun and bake to have any shot of seeing the game. Anything in the grandstand is blocked by the massive poles holding up the structure. It's REALLY bad. Shocked the architect set them up that way.

You’re correct, Catholic will protect Schmidt and pitchers win or lose. Was a 2 hour, miles away lightening delay. Loupe has been equally as good production wise all year.

Not sure about on Rummel end , wasn’t the reason Catholic lost, Catholic was even more loaded in pitching depth last year, Catholic came out flat , Rummel didn’t .

they are, the facility is like 25 years old now. terrible bathrooms, terrible concessions, terrible sight lines and terrible that the 3rd field isnt next to the others.

i believe Youngsville is building a quad and if its like the rest of the Youngsville complex, will be top notch.

not gonna lie, that was an awesome game to watch live. Rummel was anything but flat and came out ready to whoop arse and their fans were really into it. Catholic fans looked shell shocked.

I don’t really follow the games as much as the players. No clue what the circumstances were

they got great food in LC but Laff area is better imo, just more options

if you are in LC for the tournament this weeked here is a list of good places to eat

sulphur- Joes Pizza and Pasta(amazing italian), Diary Barn Hamburgers, kyoto for sushi

LC- Darrells and coolers ice house for poboys. very similar, coolers is a tad better imo but less options

121, 1910, the villa harlaquin, mazens, Calla, La Truffe Sauvage, pujo st cafe for more up scale outside of the casino

Luna(both locations) and Nina P's are great for more casual

for boiled seafood- OBs and Seafood Palace is great for all seafood.

japanese- kyoto and umami

BBq- Pauls rib shack and Jeanies bourban st bbq in westlake(prolly best brisket in the state)

mexican- Lagunas on the lake, Nogal, Pedros and Casa Manana

for drive thru seafood- hit up S&S on Lake Street

I saw Schmidt mid season last year. He was no doubt a college pitcher, but not a top 10 draft pick that he is now.

I'd say he sat 92 with a great offspeed

Kid is throwing 98 now

Every kid in the 90s now should be doing his offseason program
