Kanye is not wrong in his point.
He'd be even more right if he could cogently connect the thoughts that:
1) We should focus on fixing our own cities.
and
2) The same people who want to send that money overseas not only don't want to fix our own cities, but have purposefully destroyed our cities.
His really old quip standing on stage with Mike Myers, that "George Bush hates black people" wasn't entirely off in the context of neocon priorities (and possibly Bush Sr's alleged role in assisting the CIA in flooding inner cities w/drugs via offshore oil platforms during his oil days), but missed fairly attributing blame to all of the ba(D) guys / responsible parties.
I don't take Kanye seriously, but it is at times interesting to see moments of clear insight from him in between his manic and narcissistic fits (as mentioned in the other thread).
