Newcastle United
1. Plays a “fun” style. I don’t even know what this would look like. But a team with more of an attacking philosophy. Trying to be aggressive. Lots of ball movement
4-3-3 pressing style so think of a basketball team that plays aggressive defense and presses the other team a lot.
2. Has some sort of Star power or young up and coming quality players to follow
Alexander Isak and Bruno Guimares are young stars. Anthony Gordon, Tino Livramento, Sven Botman all very young up and coming stars.
3. Not in danger of relegation. Again don’t want the big dogs but also don’t want to follow a team that has zero chance of competing (as a Carolina Panthers fan I can only take so much loosing). Middle of the road teams that are at least competitive are fine
We just got bounced out of Champions League and suffered a lot of injuries but will finish well above relegation. Seven i hope.
4. Relative ease to watch. Meaning are there special streaming services that need to be purchased. I currently stream with YoutubeTV and have ESPN+
Can't understand why Newcastle is on t.v. so much but it's as much as the bigger clubs.
5. Cool stadium atmosphere. I know that every stadium in the EPL will have packed stands and big crowds but are there any unique fan bases with cool traditions or stadiums that can make for fun viewing experiences
Best fans in the league. The stadium is a bit odd and unique; really big on one side but not the other. That is because it sits on a hill overlooking downtown and has a row of historic building right across the street from one of the stands that can't be torn down or removed.
