No, but his sycophants should wake up and begin to publicly demand that he puts together a competent and ideologically aligned team this time. If elected, he only gets 4 years to make lasting changes, so his admin has to hit the ground running.

Sometimes I think the people that love him unconditionally really just want him there to poke the media at press conferences and voice their frustration in tweets but don't actually care whether he gets legislation passed that creates a legacy. We've seen that a bunch executive orders are fun for a coulple years, but ultimately meaningless.

If he doesn't lead a charge to cut the budget significantly and reduce the debt while reducing the size and scope of the federal government, both of his terms will have been a failure. If he got that message from enough people, he would 100% work to get that done, because he wants to be liked and respected above all else. As it stands now, he knows that his followers' love and adoration is unconditional, so there's no pressure to do the heavy lifting of pissing people off by cutting social programs and eliminating departments that everyone knows are harmful and a waste of money.

Why aren't you excited about this? This is how Democrats typically operate.

True conservatives are the ones who typically want a variety of opinions, ideas and possible dissension.

Lock step is the name of the democrat game, so this should be familiar.

Sometimes?

There is absolutely nothing to suggest that he would even try, never mind actually be successful at this.

I wouldn't go that far, especially given the Dem alternative.

Explaining away his buffoonery is Olympian in effort

"Buffoonery"

1. One of the strongest economies in this nation's history... My 401K was killing it.
2. One of the strongest job markets, the strongest in a few decades, in this nation's history.
3. Got rid of over burdensome, pointless regulations hamstringing business.
4. Lowered corporate income taxes helping to boost the economic and job growth, just like conservatives had been telling liberals it would for decades.
5. Signed executive orders enacting price controls on life saving pharmaceuticals for Americans--which Pfizer and Big Pharma hated him for and he should have been praised for but it was almost completely ignored by the media etc. It was not ignored by Pfizer however.
6. Enacted much needed pushback on China and negotiated better trade deals for the U.S. when the media and critics said he couldn't. As well as did the same with Mexico and other major trade partners.
7. Promoted and fostered a business environment that started to bring jobs back to the USA.
8. NO WAR and brokered historic peace deals, developed better diplomacy with hostile foreign leaders while at the same time was firm and let them know we can either be cool, or we'll take your arse out.
9. The U.S. achieved energy independence for the first time in history, lessening the control OPEC had over us and helping grow oil/gas industry jobs here at home.
10. Put America First and pushed back against the globalist NWO agenda, as well as the BS climate change hysteria and pushed back against a corrupt Deep State, MIC and D.C. establishment that needs pushing back on and to be put in check.
11. Oh, yeah... and he also secured the border (which he was called a nazi for), so much so that illegals seemingly left over night from where I lived and the news was running stories on how supposedly farmers could not get help to pick their crops etc. ICE was doing work and we would have never had the open border insanity that we are dealing with now.

Give me more of that "buffoonery" please.

He should have done this the first go round, as most Presidents do, and as Joe Biden certainly did.

Let me introduce you to Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.

After the shite he dealt with in his first term, I would act the same way.

My very first act as president, the very moment I arrive to the Whitehouse after being sworn in would be to have an all-employee video call with all of the State Department from the highest diplomat to the janitors and ask them to confirm that the President sets America's foreign policy, and their role is to enforce that and bring it to life. If they hesitate, they need to be fired.

The ruling class, the establishment, the people who hate Trump, are absolutely terrible at running the country. They’re idiots, and the proof is in the current state of the country.

Why is this a bad thing?

Trump needs to assemble a team that's on the same page and can get shite done. He absolutely fricked himself in his first term with shitty hires/appointments.

I have no problem with "loyalist" as long as they're also exceptional in their role.

He doesn't even make the top 5:

1. Obama
2. Clinton
3. Clinton
4. Biden
5. Pelosi

Irony much?

Even if what you say were true, it would be orders of magnitude better than we have now.

That’s what happens when in your first term you try and pick people from both sides of the aisle and they all stab you in the back.
