I think he was great as a supporting actor to Seth Rogan in Knocked Up. His character kind of wrapped up his career nicely.

But he was also hilarious in Our Idiot Brother.

Always pleased to see his name on a cast list.

One of the funniest lines int he movie.

Rewatched this not too long ago and it's so good. Russell Brands character cracked me up much more than he did in previous viewings for some reason.

I miss comedies.

His Role Models role is as close to Bill Murray as we may get today. He was great in Ghostbusters as well.

This is a good explanation; explains his appeal, but also pretty balanced:

I know the movie got panned, but I thought he was great, as Moe Berg, in the biopic 'The Catcher Was a Spy (2018)'.

I think that movie is coming to Netflix soon too. I watched the trailer and it looked interesting. Another quality comedic Rudd film that many may not have watched but is The Fundamentals of Caring. Will pull at your heartstrings a bit too.

Agreed. It is terrible. OP is an idiot.

However, and unintentional, I figured out how to unite all MTV Board.

I just wouldn't have guessed it was Paul Rudd.

Explain what?

Either way he's been some in some of my favorite comedies of the 2000s and he's pretty funny and fairly likeable.

What needs to be explained is why so many men worship Ryan Reynolds and think he's funny/entertaining

Seems like a fun dude and i love him in deadpool. But only deadpool.

Every movie ive tried to watch him in seems to be the same character.
