I’m not sure if you are saying he didn’t. It was listed as a level 1 violation from the IARP. Allegation 5.
I believe it was the only violation lsu had from him paying anyone. I’ve seen many statements of wade “paying players from his wife’s bank account” which wasn’t necessarily true. He paid a former players child’s mother who was seemingly trying to extort him.
While it’s likely Wade wasn’t squeaky clean behind the scenes, no evidence was substantial enough to find any violations for paying any player to play basketball.

PLC Controls and Safety Systems mostly. O&G for the most part though I have hit a few other industries minimally.

I thought it was pretty clear, if the ncaa had such damning evidence against, a man they clearly were after and aggravated with for years, then im sure they gave him a 3-5 year show cause, like theyve been known to do……right?

He got fired with cause with no buyout and received a two-year show cause, and has been banished to the Southland. With how much the college sports climate has changed in regards to NIL and athletes getting paid that was probably enough to satisfy those sick fricks that they got their pound of flesh.

If not you would know that during Brown's tenure, his assistant/recruiter was caught on a recruiting trip in Mississippi with thousands of dollars in his wallet. In a town where one of the top basketball prospects was located.

What is the point of continually talking about a coach who is no longer coaching here and isn’t coming back? I get people were excited about him and pissed if he was fired but ffs it’s been 2 years it’s time to move on. Piss and moan about the current coach all you like, he’s not winning that’s fine, but crying over Wade is pointless, get over it

It’s not like he got a 15 year show cause with a 5 year suspension. The NCAA just gave one of those out.

Sweet. I was kind of guessing that direction. I’m a longtime IT guy that specializes in Operational Technology. IT/OT. Work very closely with controls engineers, plc techs both O&G and manufacturing.
The engineering firm I work for bought an IT company a few years back. For all I know we could work for the same company
I have been working as a system integrator on an offshore facility for the last 9 years and hope to stay another 5 or so. This has become my sunset job. I room with the IT guy.

this isn't specifically about Will Wade.
This is about LSU sucking arse in year two while schools with far less tradition are doing better than LSU in equal or less time (South Carolina and Ole Miss).
Going from historically bad to the NIT bubble isn't anything to sing praises over.

Wade's last LSU team was rated top 10 in the country in defense. Holla back when McMahon can claim that. Or an SEC regular season title. Or 4 straight NCAA appearances. Don't hold your breath waiting on all that.
