I know the procedure you are referring to. I had the traditional sinus surgery that was a miserable recovery. Didn’t produce the results that were promised.

I went back to see about the other surgery. It is outpatient. The Dr gives you a local and goes up the nostrils with the camera and balloon device. The balloon is placed in the sinus drains and expanded. It’s on YouTube and you can hear the small pops. Mostly it is just a minor nose bleed afterwards. Alas, I was not a candidate as the drains were open.

There are now idiots putting an actual balloon up their nose and quickly expanding it. If they can’t deflate the balloon quickly you can see the patient/victim struggling to breathe.
