I didn’t measure the first time, but the last two attempts both yielded 30g of espresso at different grind settings, the last taking 25 seconds. I’m using the automatic button on the machine. What should I adjust to get a 1:2 ratio that I think I should be getting?
1:2 is just a guideline to get started/dial in a new bean.
Tastes is always king. I tend to pull more volume in that 30 seconds. Something like 19g in, 55-57g out in 30 seconds.

Just started using French press because I got tired of replacing broken drip machines. Any major tips for French Press (Espro p3)?
Currently:
70g beans (been using French Market Dark/Community Breakfast Blend)
1000g of water
Boil water in kettle until she whistles, turn off and let sit for a minute.
Dump ground beans in press
Slowly pour water over grounds and let sit uncovered for 5 min.
Stir and skim off foam
Put lid/press on and let sit for 4 min
Slowly press down
Pour and enjoy
Been enjoying my cups, just not sure if there is a better method/ratio out there. I plan on trying different beans, but that's all the grocery store really had in whole bean, and I needed coffee.
