I think they left enough open for a season three if they get renewed for another season. Jake and Katagiri both couldn’t sit there 10 seconds and do nothing on the final scene. I think the last episode did a great job of both leaving enough material for another season and enough closure to be the series finale.

Lucky enough to go to Tokyo for work a few times a year and the show nailed the late night vibe you feel. Great show, good plot, and characters you were vested it. Never tried to be more than it was, just delivered on being what it knew it could be.
