This past year was the first year they ever cancelled it. There was supposed to be some massive storms that came in, but they didn't cancel it until we were already there. We decided to stay and just have a guys weekend, ended up playing golf everyday except Saturday, which was ok since there was championship football on all day (SEC championship in the evening).

While we were sitting there, we were talking to the guy that runs it and apparently they are going to have some massive changes this year. Destin tourism council has finally bought in and will be allocating some funds which means they can have more attendees, different courses, etc. so it'll be interesting to see what happens this year.

Signups are usually in August but they have sold out in the most recent years. They give people that played in it the prior year first right of refusal.
