Worked a couple of seasons during college for a helicopter service out of Vivian. One summer drove the fuel truck for the helicopter and chemical truck as we sprayed defoliant on utility company rights-of-way to keep trees off power lines. Traveled all over the southeast. Only worked during few hours around sunrise and sunset, goofed off the rest of the time. Room and board paid for when on the road, great way to save money. Then worked fire patrol in VA and drove the fuel truck while the helicopter used a water bucket to drop on fires. Saw lot of country and met interesting people and got a few helicopter and fixed wing rides.
