I think they all were loosey goosey coming into that turn which has always had bumps. Looking at it again it again, if you’re going to “blame” anyone I would blame Nemechek for triggering it but I don’t think any of them were truly minding their business. I know it was a different time and different drivers (better ones IMO) but there once was a time where five cars could run nose to tail for a dozen laps at Talladega like they were on rails.

Just watched a good shot of the camera in the tri-oval. That track is huge. I took part of the Dale Jarrett driving experience there in 2005. Top speed 180. If you have never done that and like speed I would suggest looking into it. I actually passed the UPS 88 on the track.
