Project Hail Mary

Definitely this. It’s Weir’s best yet imo and just an awesome journey if you like his style. Same author as The Martian for those not in the know.

Just started the audiobook today. Thirty minutes in and I’m intrigued

Give an update when you’re done, but you’ll have a blast! I’d argue Project Hail Mary is one of the best novels that’s specifically better suited for audio.

I expect there will be a popular film adaptation one day as well.

Just finished it, and it was fantastic! I enjoyed the pacing, the flashback nature, and I appreciated how it ended. I liked not knowing all the details of what happened on earth. Leave something to the imagination.
