I don’t think a single NFL team would take Purdy over Lamar. Seriously.
And I like Purdy.

I'm not so sure, not even trying to be a hater. Even if for arguments sake we say Purdy/Jackson make the same salary.
2019 regular season Jackson was absolutely fantastic and deserving of the MVP title with 66.1% completion, 3,127 pass yards, 36TD/6INT, and 1,207 rush yards & 7TDs with 6.9ypc. Outside of this one amazing season Jackson has never had any other great seasons passing, only eclipsing the 3,000 yard mark 1 other time. That said they finished 2019 with the #1 seed and lost their first game to #4 seed Tennessee. With Jackson as starter Ravens are 2-5 in the playoffs. QB play is never the only reason a team wins or loses, but when you have a QB that has some limitations passing consistently from the pocket you have to compensate & build your team & spend money in other areas accordingly. As of this point you also have to consider after 6 seasons of Jackson that he has hit his ceiling and is slowly going down, just logical from up at the peak 2019 season, and he will get you a great regular season record but going against playoff caliber defenses & coaches more often than not they can game plan to contain his offense.
Purdy in only 2 seasons has proven to be very poised in the pocket and takes what the defense gives him and is an efficient passer.
