I'm not saying Jones is awful at 1B, but he looked really goofy on some easy plays last season. He had flashes of consistency, but I hope we don't get those momentary lapses of coordination this season. Just catch the ball.

He also made some very good and athletic plays. To me he looked like an inexperienced freshman that will improve with more time dedicated to the position.

Don’t feel like searching - does anyone know where I can find a schedule for the scrimmages? Want to make it to at least 1

For this weekend they were posted on LSU Baseball Twitter and lsusports.net website. I'd check there or here on tRant for dates/times moving forward.
Tomorrow the scrimmage is scheduled for 1 pm but both of them so far were delayed by an hour or more.
