If y'all (Boxcar) don't mind, I will report back every now and then and we can discuss whats happening.
One of the few pleasures in my life is talking Dune with people. So feel free to discuss away.

Between Mardi Gras and work ramping up, my reading has been a bit slow. I have found that this book isn’t the easiest read but it’s very rewarding once you get going. Meaning I can’t just pick it up for 5-10 minutes and read a few pages, I really have to carve out 30 minutes to an hour to really get into it.
But I digress. My question really is Why did the Emperor decide to remove the Harkonens and give Arrakis to the Atreides if he plans to use his own soldiers disguised as Harkonens to sabotage Duke Leto?
Maybe they mentioned it and I just missed it? I’m only a quarter done with the book so if I will find out the motive later, just tell me I’ll find out later.
