Blank wanted Bill and nobody else did. Sounds like Blank gave up, probably in part because he's not getting traction elsewhere either.

Morris isn't a bad hire in my view but he's a typical NFL retread. Of course, sometimes those do work out.

Just seems lackluster after the theater of a potential Belichick hire and Vrabel interviewing.

I don't think anything about his career would be "typical" in that sense.

I have a feeling Morris is going to make people LOL'ing look foolish in a few years.

It is lacklustre for sure, but I think BB would have been meh at best. Just happy they didn't get Harbaugh.
