Tikka or Bergara in 308 ..both quality, accurate rifles with smooth bolts..either one will last you a life time …308 because you can find ammo anywhere and it usually has the most variety available
You can find 308 Norma soft point on the internet for $22 a box, some times less and my Bergara shoots half inch groups with it
Meopta has the best glass for the money..you can get a 2-10x42 Optika5 for less than $400
