SWLA-Pecan Island. We ended pretty dismal. YOY we were down probably 70% on killed ducks. Chalk it up to the birds never really migrating in any great numbers.

Luckily I was able to hunt Kansas and Oklahoma, where the hunting was spectacular.

SWLA chenier. Started off strong, and like the last couple years near empty skies by close. I don’t understand why we didn’t not benefit from the late season fronts. Fronts dont seem to matter.

Chauvin- better year than recent years but that’s not saying much. A lot of dosgris. The end of the season was much slower as well.

Crawfish ponds close to New Iberia have been ok. They were full of birds at the start of the season. As the season went on, we basically had to wait for new birds to show up after the fronts.

I have not seen or killed many teal this year. After the recent cold snaps, I’ve seen big flocks of grays, spoonies, and pintail, but they’re pretty blind wary now.

The Duck Commander Crew claims this was the worst they've ever seen it.

Saw more racked bucks than ducks.

Started out decent with seeing migrating ducks heading south. Then got slow, and only a little push by the fronts, but nothing to brag about. What I don't understand was the lack of wood ducks. You normally see groups flying back and forth from the woods to the lake, but not this year.

Hunted Lafourche and Terrebonne parishes, was second or third worst year in my 40 years of hunting.

Worst season I’ve ever had in Venice. We hunted the same birds all year long never got a nice push. Saltwater intrusion fricked everything up.

Let you know. The first trip to Oklahoma in December was a blast. This last one everything we hunt is still locked up. Has been for 5-6 days. We will see if the birds come back. Last weekend if the season.

Hunted 20+ days in Oklahoma and Kansas. Worst duck season I can remember. Water wasn’t as much of an issue as has been in the past few years. Lack of numbers on big ducks. Shot teal mostly all the way up until the past week or so. Many friends also believe worst year in the last few decades. Hope this is not the new norm.

Pecan Island.

Pecan Island was garbage.....I heard some jackass broke a levee or opened a weir to let water in and flooded the area with saltwater

Gueydan was pretty good

Wax and Atchafalaya Delta's were complete trash

Oklahoma and Kansas sucked balls

Crazy how Kansas and Mississippi are still open. They are smoking them there this week. Lots of South La hunters are there now/.this week.

Central Rapides Parish, west zone and it was the worst I've seen in several years. As several have mentioned, started out decent and went downhill. The third split was mostly a set in the blind and bullshite with each other event.

Has been the best season we’ve had in years. Maybe the best second split we’ve

I know a lot of people are killing them too but got dam it’s been amazing.

I’m hunting off the river from Arkansas/miss/north la

Shite ton of gadwall early and then mallards/pintails late.

Feels like I’m back in the early 2000’s with how good it’s been. Hope they are back next year
