Upon his return to LSU, Raymond agreed to a two-year contract with a team option for 2026. LSU will pay him $200,000 his first season, a sum offset by his buyout from Florida after he was fired last November as part of a staff overhaul.

After that, Raymond will make $755,000 per year, which equaled his reported salary with the Gators. LSU will have the option to keep Raymond on staff in 2026. He is the only coach with an option year in his deal.

quote:

Peoples signed a three-year deal worth $2.1 million last Friday. He will make $700,000 per year, a significant bump from his previous salary. Peoples earned $400,000 each of the last two years, according to his contract as Missouri's edge rushers coach. LSU also covered his $500,000 buyout.

Olsen received a two-year deal. He will make $350,000 his first season, then $400,000 in his second.

Everytime I read these I think what the hell am I doing with my life lol

With that said it ain’t easy on the families for a number of reasons but there’s plenty of far less compensated careers with similar problems

Which they will promptly spend signing the Director of Towels and Water to a 2 yr, $480,000 deal.

Lot of money, but wasn't Corey making over $1million when he was last here? If so, what a bargain!

A very small number of coaches make a lot of money.

You don't start there, and you're highly unlikely to get there.

I don't understand how all these coaching salaries make sense. we are paying 2 guys over 2 million per year to coach the dl (4 players) and paying davis app. $900,000 to coach the ol (5 players). how does this all make sense. we are payin 2 guys app. 1 million to coach dbs. ( 5 guys in nickel coverage) looks like the dl guys are way overpaid.
