Their backup played well. So that's good

He’s been getting some buzz from what I’ve read on him especially after Jake Browning stepped up when Burrow went down

Interviewed for Bucs OC last season

I'd take him AND Browning over what we got this season.

From his picture he looks like a confident football coach and not a pointdexter like Carmichael. Already an upgrade lol

Refreshing to see it’s hopefully not a promotion from within

I guess the one appealing part is, the offensive bar has been set very low with Carr and co thus far. Can’t get much worse if you’re a new OC

Yet...

I hope this isn't some song and dance, and then we settle on Curry.

They interviewed outside candidates and then went with Dennis Allen as they intended all along.

I’ll believe it when I see it that they don’t promote Curry.

Yea that’s would be a bad reputation to gain for the FO

Brian Callahan has had 4 HC interviews, so if he bounces I would imagine Pitcher becomes their OC anyway

He is the planned replacement if their OC gets a HC job, so we would have to hire him quickly otherwise he'll be promoted within their organization

Something to keep an eye on here

Titans Request Second, In-Person Coaching Interview With Bengals' Brian Callahan

Have to imagine if Callahan goes to Tenn, Pitcher will be in consideration to take over the OC job in Cincy and a candidate for the OC job in Tenn.
