Making Cesar Ruiz a marginal player should not be grounds for retaining him.

Did he make Peat look like a LT for the first time as well?
Saints did give up the 2nd fewest sacks in 23.

To be fair Peat should have been playing LT all along, especially after TA left in FA.

so much of the "bad" in the on-field results come from bad talent evaluations of players and how and where to use them.
i dont know who made those decisions, but that is the place where making changes are needed.
keep those making good decisions and get rid of the ones forcing players to play outside of their strengths.
so we use players where they play better rather than try and make them play differently then what made them good.
