had bad trigger thumb on left hand. Steroid shot fixed it in < 24hours.
Was an amazingly painful shot!
That was a few years ago. Have trigger thumb on right hand now, but haven't gone in to get the shot yet. Need to get the Orthopedist to prescribe an oxycodone and take 2 hours before.
The shot isn't a permanent fix though. eventually you will likely need the surgery.
