West Ham may have to leave the London Stadium in the next few years

LINK
Link is a West Ham podcast discussion about it but cliffs notes are
-West Ham negotiated almost too good of a deal to be the tenant of the London Stadium post Olympics.
-Partially due to the deal being so good, the stadium authority is now completely upside down on upkeep to the tune of 250 million pounds.
-London is unable/unwilling to bail out the stadium authority.
-On top of that, the upper level of the stadium was designed as a temporary structure and it quickly degrading, taking the roof with it.
-West Ham owners can’t/won’t buy the stadium and fix it.
-Stadium authority now suing the negotiators of the deal and are trying to kick West Ham out, but can’t find legal reason to do so.
-West Ham considering suing due to lack of maintenance, but that’s not going to improve the situation in the short to medium term and will certainly not help with the degrading roof.

So do the taxpayers in London help finance stadiums or is that just an American thing.

west ham are sitting the drivers seat
they have no fault in any of this, and are the victim of politics.
they can sit back and watch, then make their move(law suit), if their side doesn't win, or the path they would rather go, loses.

Many non-West Ham supporters decried their leaving Upton Park. LMAO now if they have to find a new place to play!!
One of Fulham's most embarrassing moments, at least to me, happened at Upton Park when Eddie fricking Johnson couldn't get around the keeper at ten yards.

Where would West Ham play? Wimbledon and Charlton wandered in the wilderness without a true home ground for years. Granted West Ham is a far bigger club, but I would be worried about where they go from here.
