LEDs are more efficient than incandescent, and can generally save you money. So for most use cases it makes sense to buy LEDs.

Having said that, it is NOT governments place to force the issue by banning incandescent bulbs. That is un-American.

Government can help the fledgling LED lightbulb industry get off the ground, but then let the American people weigh the pros & cons for themselves and make their own decision about what to buy and use. If you want to buy LEDs then that is great. If I want incandescent, why is that any business of yours!

It is as bad as the insane and un-American CAFE standards.
