I thought the announcement yesterday was UL is closed

Yep.
I see it here all the time. Main highway will be clear by tomorrow after a couple of feet of snow this weekend. My favorite backroads home aint had blacktop visible since October. Its shaded and not well traveled.

I got on 10 East at Highland. West was closed. Road was dry except for the overpasses. Practically no one on the road which was nice

Here in CS roads are all dry now. School starting late tomorrow. But the sun is out, it's cold, but the show and ice have evaporated off the roads. It will get up to 50 tomorrow.
