He had 4 NFL teams offer him to be their head coach after nearly 15 years of rising through the NFL coaching ranks. 4 NFL franchises aren’t offering a guy bc of who his dad is to be their head coach. Maybe he gets a gig as a videographer or a scout’s assistant but not a coordinator or head coach position at the NFL level. Derrick Henry averaged 750 yards 7 TDs and 4.5 ypc his first 3 seasons in the league when Smith was TE coach. Under Smith as OC, Henry averaged 1,750 yards 17 TD’s and 5.3 ypc.
