You are crazy if you bet on this LSU team

I won’t bet them against Auburn, but I’m fairly confident against this 5-9 Vandy team that is 6-8 ATS

Vandy stinks(Have improved) but this is a huge game for LSU. If MM is building tCulture this is one you have got to win, holding serve at home is crucial for programs especially this LSU one.

We got a chance to get off to a good start in conference winning this one keeps that rolling.

Jordan Wright should be extra motivated for this game playing his old team

Vandy playing with a very good Memphis team on the road was a wake up call. They may have struggled some at the beginning but they are playing well now. Need to approach this game just like the TAM game. Go in still playing with that underdog mentality. Haven't earned anything yet.

A loss tonight kills ANY and ALL momentum/good-will gained from the A&M win. It is highly unlikely LSU will be able to go into Auburn and win on Saturday. That's not a "sin" if they can beat Vandy tonight. If LSU is 2-1 (SEC) after Saturday I think you will see a moderately good crowd vs. Ole Miss. Especially since the students will be back on campus.

If MM wants people to start believing and showing up he HAS to win a game like this one.

Turned down 4 separate offers for tics tonight and know others that’ve done the same. Can’t even pretend to care til MM is booted

Congrats. You care enough to post in a positive thread to show how little you care. Why do some of you people even follow LSU sports?

And they gave a Bama team that's better than Memphis all they wanted Saturday, lost by just 3.

Let's see if we've really made a paradigm shift in rebounding because that will be key to us building on that A&M game and beyond. For me it really is that simple. But if we slip back to what we were before Re: rebounding, Vandy absolutely can beat us.

Vandy isn't as beatable as their record suggests. They came within a last shot of beating both Memphis and Bama

Alabama shot it notably better than Vanderbilt. They just had 16 turnovers to allow Vandy 10 or more FGA to hang around.

A few things really killed LSU in the non-conf. schedule

1. Turnovers
2. Poor defensive rebounding
3. Allowing far too many 3 pointers

Those numbers have significantly improved over the last 3 games. However, A&M is the only good team they played in that stretch.

Cook gives them stability at the PG spot. Hopefully that continues to lead to less TOs since there is less of a need to have Williams/Hannibal handle it and make poor decisions or Reed lazily turn the ball over.

Dean has been playing more minutes and has been a factor both rebounding and at least being a presence at the rim.

We'll see tonight if the 3 point defense had been a product of improvement or just bad offense because Vandy won't be too shy about launching them.

It's one thing to turn down tickets. It's another thing to turn them down till coach is fired. That is what makes you an idiot. You are not an LSU fan so why are you here?

I don’t agree that it would kill any and all good will. I think it will dampen enthusiasm quite a bit, but it depends on how we look. The A&M win was still much more impressive than the Arkansas win last year due to the margin of victory, Arkansas’ injuries, and because A&M had won 20 home games in a row, while Arkansas was our home game. A loss today could mean that Vandy has become a good team. I do agree that if Vandy beats us badly, then we will lose all of the good will gained from the A&M win, but if it is a close loss, I won’t overreact to the loss.
