I don’t disagree with that part. It was a bad loss in that respect as LSU had a double digit lead and couldn’t close out, which has been a common theme in the past. Dayton made adjustments and we didn’t, and we got into a turnover spree that kills leads with the quickness.

Dayton is a solid team and would be a “good” win at the end of the year we could have closed it out properly.

to dig a bit deeper into this I think under CMM to this point which granted us a small sample size - we've put some good halves together against good teams but outside maybe the Kentucky and maybe Arkansas games last year I can't honestly recall putting a solid 40 minutes of good basketball together.

one can point to the talent as the reason I guess and we can and have argued the whys and hows of that ad nauseum but that reality gnaws at me.
