This. Baker became public target #1 almost instantly and has been for a few days…tough time believing he’s the guy unless there are some legal hoops to jump through with the extension he signed, but we haven’t operated this publicly under Woodward and Kelly so smells like Jimmy doing work

People on the rant shite on Matt & Jordy yet they’d do the same exact thing if they had that job. Go listen to yesterday’s Jordy show. Towards the end, he and Lloyd both said multiple times that they have been wrong before & they will be wrong again. It’s their job to provide takes and pass along what they are hearing from either inside LSU or other media outlets.

What would be the angle? He's already gotten an extension. Is he angling for Drinkwtiz's job? Makes no sense no matter how many times it's posted. Agents float names for money. There's no money to be made unless he's leaving.

I agree with this. My point is that most LSU fans would do that job the same way if it was them. Jordy more so gets emotional about players he wants to see on the field not playing.

Mizzou panics and makes him the highest paid DC in CFB…not really tough to see the angle there. He has more leverage than he did when he negotiated the extension after the season.

Wrong.
It's not their jobs to provide takes right or wrong. Their "takes" are speculative. Listen more to Hunt Palmer. You don't hear him trying to act like an insider. Radio personalities have options. Matt and Jordy choose to be speculative and it adds nothing of value. Matt also decides to be an obnoxious jerk in his delivery.

Yawn. Maybe he's letting his agent do his job. It's OK to negotiate. LSU and Mizzou are both great places to be. Only advantage Mizzou has is he's already there. Doesn't have to move his family.

Who are you to say what their jobs are? They're a podcast independently sponsored and can say and talk about what ever the frick they want to talk about. They just sit around and talk about LSU. Occasionally Jordy might get a tidbit that he passes along. I listen to them the same way I would sit and listen to my friends at the bar. I know I'm not going to get some major inside info from them. They have takes and good guests and that's about it. Sometimes I agree sometimes I don't.

Their job is a talk show host to give info and their opinions.
There’s not 1 sports radio host that 100% does not give their opinion or speculate.
Jordy says “it’s his opinion” or “in my view” and admits that it’s speculation. Yet most ppl take as though he’s saying “this is 100% going to happen”.
