Finally caught up on the finale last night. I just want to know how the frick Danvers didn't die.You fall in water that cold and get drug back to a facility in the freezing cold, sit in a facility with no heat around a tiny-arse campfire without (at least by the looks of it) changing into dry clothes? No way she's surviving that.

When you have one guy surviving being frozen solid for two days, this doesn’t seem so out there. I wonder if there is an Instagram post about that

Bro....a man was frozen into a popsicle to the point that one of his limbs literally snapped off from his body like a twig in a storm yet he continued to live long enough to sit up and cosplay as a possessed person.

You're in the night country now, just go with it.

I tried to paste this, but too many characters- definitely a TL, DR. But if you have the time, this is pretty funny and spot-on.

2 woman detectives and a group of killer boss bitches. They show went exactly how I thought it would.

Also, why would you go into an ice cave without marking your trail or any rope? I guess "I'm asking the wrong questions"

Why was Clark taking notes of a criminal fricking conspiracy? The answer, believe it or not, is "not ghosts," because the ghost of Stringer Bell would've advised Clark against doing that. What a twist!

Well I just got through with it and that had to be the worst writing I’ve ever seen.

Have we decided collectively that this is the worst season of any show ever?

Thx for sharing that Reddit link

So much better than watching the show, and in a lot less time

His description of the scientists deciding to die naked, but first strike a pose, still has me laughing out loud

This was bar none the worst episode in the worst series of prestige television ever made

Watching this episode made me feel like I was watching some iteration of my 8 year old imagination. It literally came together like a child wrote it.

Season 4 was pretty good until it wasn't. They should have kept the x-files type story instead of what they did.

That Reddit link with the summary (and the corresponding comments) is utter gold.

quote:

Just to add onto this, the police file on Annie K's murder was at Prior's house prior to the Tsalal murder, so evidently the ice lady took it from his house, brought it to the police station to take pictures of, then brought it back to Prior's house while he was texting Tatianna without anyone being the wiser.

quote:

I think the answer regarding the one-eyed polar bear is deliberately left vague by the show, but all signs point to Danvers' son Holden dying in a polar bear attack by the one eyed polar bear, and Danvers feels bad for all the times she played with Holden and pretended to "attack" him with the one eyed polar bear stuffy.

This obviously implies that a ghost observed Danvers playing with Holden in this manner, and then possessed the one eyed polar bear to actually attack and kill Holden. As a joke.

quote:

quote:

I think you left out the part where Clark took Annie’s phone, incriminating video intact, and placed it out in the open in his trailer.

In an unheated trailer for six years, subjected to many freeze thaw cycles, but no moisture or corrosion, and the phone booted right up.

Issa Lopez retweeted this:

quote:

Danvers and Navarro are broken and lost . They pursue the darkness because their pain and their sadness is so monumental only righteous atonement can crack it.
They are the bad women who bear witness to what the bad men have done.

Confused by this, what are they talking about?

In the scene where Soap Team 6 invades Tsalal, it shows one of the Just Ice (justice!) ladies taking pictures of a file, implying they had access to the criminal file on Annie K (another interpretation was that this was a Tsalal file on the pollution, but it looks like a police file, and they weren't concerned about the pollution)
