I used to love Mardi Gras parades as a kid. We would stay at a hotel on Saint Charles and when a parade was approaching we would just go out of the door to watch the parade. As I got older, I began to hate watching parades. The reason I started to hate them was because of the aholes who were adults. I saw some step on the hands of young kids to claim a string of worthless beads. The aholes were carrying bags that were stuffed with beads that they probably caught at earlier parades. Watching the adults doing things to kids really pissed me off. If I was watching a parade and caught beads, I would always give them to a young kid who was standing near me. Kids are kids once in their life span. Let the kids have fun catching the beads. Adults pushing kids down for beads used to infuriate me. I thought that I would be better off not going. If I continued to go I probably would get shot because it was only a matter of time before I opened my big mouth and say something negative to people who were stepping on kid's hands and pushing kids down to grab beads. I haven't been to a parade for twelve years. I don't like crowds of people and the last parade I was standing near somebody that stunk. I can live without seeing females raise their arms for beads and seeing a huge bush that was growing under their arms
