Sampson is next to hit the portal. Just like Brown, did not separate themselves from other WR’s since spring. And you know how bad our secondary was.

Dude wants to play and he won’t see the field here till junior year at earliest. That room is pretty loaded.

How can you say this with any certainty.

The wr room has some young unproven talent(besides lacy and hilton)

Hopefully not. Sampson has the potential to be the next great WR here. He should see significant playing time next year with Nabers and BTJ gone

We have a dozen WR.
We are 5ish scholarships over the limit.
Good luck Mr. Brown but I'd rather lose a non starting WR than a position of need.

This is the truth of it. As good as these guys might be they are going to be the most expendable just due to numbers and how well LSU historically recruits the position.

No, better proven talent. More unproven recruits on the way.
His upside was high school.

Anderson was not very good.

Even Lacy was inconsistent.

BK should have found a few snaps for Brown and Sampson to develop them and keep them engaged.

I really can’t think of any other recent stud freshman WR that we’ve had that just didn’t get any playing time…

Provided he stays healthy, Chris Hilton should be a much bigger factor next season.

I expect Sampson to start contributing. Let's hope he has a good spring on the practice field. Hopefully, Parker can as well.

Anderson and Lacy hopefully will benefit from the experience they received. They should know what they have to do.

Sampson isn't going anywhere. He will probably start in the Brian Thomas role next year.

I wish him well. We didn’t need him anyway though.

I don't get how people say stuff like this.

The wr room basically has lacy penciled in as wr1. And I'm a lacy guy, but that just shows you nothing is really proven.

Lacy
Hilton
Anderson(extremely disappointed)
Ibieta
Sampson
Parker
Prean
Brown

New freshmen

I will say I don't think denbrock used Anderson well. Throw him at least one or two bubble screens a game.
Let him run a reverse.

Put him in the backfield and throw him a swing pass.

Hopefully the next oc isn't as vanilla as denbrock. When you have a Heisman qb who can take it to the house at any moment, you don't have to be as creative.

You’re forgetting Zavion Thomas. And at least two of the incoming freshmen have similar skill sets to Brown. If there’s any 4star freshman on the team we can afford to lose, he’s at least on the short list.

Sampson & Parker played 3x as many snaps as Brown this year.

Zavion Thomas was brought over & has the same skillset, but with 600 college snaps under his belt.

It’s not a loss chalky
