Recommendation on a rifle recoil pad

I've got what I believe to be a Remington 700SPS. Ive ordered a few pads that were supposed to be for the gun, but all of them are too small. The current pad on the gun is around 5.5" wide and there is about 3.25" between the screw holes. Any recommendations on something that would fit?

Have you tried a limb saver, they have always fit for me

Pachmyr Decelerator that is a bit oversized and sanded down.

I've never seen one that didn’t fit but try a pachmayr. Most pads are over sized so you can sand them down. Any standard Remington 700 pad should fit that rifle.

Ok....I feel like an idiot. Not sure what I was looking at, but the limbsaver one I ordered fits perfectly. My bad.

Red decelerator is always the correct answer. Sand to fit.

Limbsaver on my 35 Wheelen. No recoil whatever and they provide templates to ensure the correct fit.

No offense, but I’m leaning user error. Limb saver should fit a model 700, probably the most popular production gun in history.
