That D was in the qb’s face
Every play

The run stopping was so disciplined and they attacked their area

A thing of beauty
If we could get Blake back
Yessssss pleaseeee

Ohio State had a true freshman unexpectedly thrown into the game early on and he simply couldn’t handle pressure, so Mizzou kept doing it.

Hard to draw absolutes from a game like that. I love how both teams looked on D, but Ohio State was really handicapped last night.

A more seasoned QB would have taken advantage of Mizzou sending the house so often.

We have House and the worst defensive staff in the country. We’re so far from a competent defense

Matt House isn't going anywhere unfortunately.. Per Matt M LSU doesn't have the money due to dishing alot of cash out in buyouts, Kelly's contract, Mulkey's contract, Johnson contract, and Matt contract. LSU is hoping he can go back to the NFL that way they wouldn't have to pay his buyout and dish out even more cash plus the new coaches contract.

Ohio st was down like 4 starters including their qb and one of the best 2 or 3 receivers in the country, not exactly a good barometer

Not taking anything away from Mizzou but this was not the same Ohio State team as the regular season.

And both Georgia and Florida State will have key players missing. Even these supposedly big “NY6” games mean essentially nothing now.

We are fully in the age where if it ain’t the playoffs, bowl games don’t mean shite.

And while I’d like to see Jayden one more time, this works out well for us and CBK is approaching this game for exactly what it is—a preseason scrimmage for 2024.

Did people not watch the game? Mizzou shut down the second string QB who has a lot more experience than the 3rd stringer who didn't even come in until the 2nd quarter. The defense was stout and rarely missed tackles.

OSU missing 5 players should not have been a difference. They recruit on par with most other top programs. They actually played very well on D and held Mizzou to their lowest point total of the year.

Ohio State clearly had bigger, stronger, faster players overall. The 3rd string QB was a factor, but there's no way THE Ohio State University shoulda only scored 3 on that defense. Kudos to Miz...zou.

Yeah pump the breaks here. Mizzou’s defense wasn’t elite here. If Ohio state had their regular season team, they win by 40

While anyone would be better than House, don’t forget, LSU hung 49 on that defense on their home field.

They did what anybody with a brain would do. They pressured a freshman 3rd string QB thrown into a game he never thought he'd be playing in.

The QB for Ohio St wears #33, it was over at kickoff lol
I know it’s a tribute to Sammy Baugh problems is the offense played like it was from Baugh era
#33 on a QB looks rid-iiiculous

You do realize they’re starting quarterback, opted out and didn’t play at all. They were down to third string quarterback, who played next to nothing all season. Harrison didn’t suit up either. Might want to control your enthusiasm.
