Stop comparing Self to Wade. They didn’t have self on a wiretap talking about a big azz offer. Self didn’t use any personal accounts to pay the girlfriend. If you think lsu would have gotten a slap on the wrist if they would’ve retained Wade, then you are sadly mistaken. I’m more than sure lsu would have gotten post season bans and scholarship reductions.

Why would he dream to be a coach who hasn’t won anything? I would dream to be Phil Jackson, Coach K, etc. Will Wade took a bunch of 5 stars to the 1st or second round of the tournament that’s it. Will Wade = Jimbo Fisher

The now dead pac 12 has won 184648266484794 national titles, and 175% of those are in water polo and field hockey.
I don't care how many (who gives a FLUCK nationally) baseball, lesbian basketball or track and gym titles we win, none of those come close to equaling ONE in football or men's basketball.
So while Scott has done well in a couple of the tallest midget sports, and imo hired a top flight football coach who will win natty(s) here, he has ROYALLY FLUCKED UP one of the two sports on campus that register on a national scale, and the ONLY two that truly matter in his performance evaluation.

I’m really not sure why people like the man. Is he better than Alleva? Sure.
All he does is throw large amounts of money at coaches with a proven track record.
Anyone with that follows sports and access to LSU’s funds could do what Fat Scott has done.
We will be Notre Dame 2.0 under Kelly. Always in the national discussion, maybe get in the 12 team playoffs several times, but will never be a real threat to win it all. I don’t see him stringing together 3 straight wins against top 5/10 teams to win a title.

Both can be true, but my God, the Wade sympathizers have made it unbearable to read any basketball threads. You would have thought we lost the basketball equivalent to Nick Saban with Will Wade.
