I know Arkansas interviewed him before hiring Pittman.

Not beyond what Nick Saban was willing to do in the past.

The hate for Deion on this board is crazy to me

I don’t hate Deion and in fact in the first 2-3 games of the season I thought he had his shite together. However, seeing what he did with his offensive coaches mid-season and how the team absolutely fell apart doesn’t give me much confidence. I’ve always liked Deion. He was way ahead of his time in the NFL.

Prime has no idea on how to run a program. He should have stayed at Jackson state

If Deion is looking to bolt after next season, maybe he should try boosting his stock by having his team not be crappy. If next season is a failure, what better destination would want him?

I'm curious, if a coach has a top 5 transfer class every year, would that be successful?

It should be a good team, maybe not a top 5-10 program. But I don't think it would suck. That should be top 20 level talent..

BS…was a fan of Deion until he started pulling bush league crap like this:
1. Calling out the reporter for calling him a Seminole to make a point about HBCUs, conveniently ignoring that he just bolted from JSU as fast as he could.
2. Saying Travis Hunter should have the Heisman locked up after the first half of their first game.
3. His comments about his detractors not liking him because of the way he talks / looks as a head coach…yeah, Deion, you’re the first black football coach ever.
4. His comments about keeping “receipts” for those that doubted him when they started off undefeated, then making excuse after excuse and wanting more privacy later in the season when reality set in…can’t have it both ways, slick.
5. Throwing coaches and players under the bus during the season.
6. Allowing his personal security to wear a “frick it” sweatshirt on game day, especially when you know there’s a good chance it’ll be seen when you’re interviewed on national TV.

Yeah, that’s not sustainable

Helicopter dads don't need sustainability... I doubt Deion knows half the players names on his team. He didn't even know who his starting Center was...you know the guy who hikes the ball to his son.

Got rid of his OC because the OC was trying to run the ball and win football games instead of just pumping up Shedeur's stats.

You would seriously be a fool.or have little options to sign with the Shedeur Deion show. Its only about them.

Even if he somehow gets to .500, which might be possible in the BIG12 with UT and OU gone would you hire him knowing how he not only builds a team but carries himself?

I'd think most schools would find him radioactive.

It looks like Deion is using my old strategy on NCAA football when I was trying to rebuild horrible teams.

I would only go after 4 and 5 star guys. At the end, when I only had like 3 guys signed, I would fill out the rest of the roster with random 1 & 2 star guys. It takes a few years, but eventually it works out that my recruiting improves, and eventually win multiple championships.

The only issue with this strategy is it comes from a video game. So that's very bold of Deion to try it in real life

Prime cares about next year.

Trying to get Shedeur to number 1. Then he will try to go to his team in the pros and bring along Shiloh.

It’s what he has done every step of the way b

He is clearly in try to win next year and who cares about after.

No NFL team is hiring him short of a 10 win season or conference championship

He had no clue what to do with his squad down the stretch

They do still have one more possible, the #1 OT in the country has been committed to them but he decided not to sign today, currently thinking about flipping to Maryland

The OT wound up signing with Colorado yesterday. I have a question about how it played out, though.

It is supposed to be a recruiting dead period right now. Yet, when that recruit started to falter Deion sent Deion junior to close the deal. Now, I guess junior doesn't technically work for the university/program, but everything being pushed about him centers around the YouTube channel and business he has that almost solely creates content for the Colorado football program. The Maryland and Oregon coaches may get pissy and file a complaint with the NCAA....for whatever that's actually worth these days.

It just seems kind of slimy with how it played out.

Easy way to fix this transfer portal non-sense, schools can only sign 5 per cycle. Boom, now it’s fixed.
