It’s not cool that we cause horses and dogs to die of heart attacks, and then there’s the vets with ptsd. It’s too bad they don’t make quiet ones where they light up the sky, but are silent. We lit up the neighborhood for Y2K, but since then I’ve changed my stance. I’ve seen too many sad posts from fireworks. I won’t say anything to folks who do, thats their option, but I don’t anymore.

The people with the scared dogs lol. It's 1 day a year

Guy at the corner of 16/42. Does it for fun and only sells shite he likes. Usually has Excalibur for $50. Not sure if he went up recently though.

It's entertainment. Most entertainment is a waste of money, who cares how someone else spends their money?

What's so good about Angelo's?

They have the same stuff that BR has for at least half the price. One item in BR was $95 and at Angelo’s it was like $40.
Angelo’s is like going to Forest Hill for trees and shrubs.

We and others bring U-Haul’s or trucks and load up. You can buy for next season too as fireworks have about a decade shelf life.

I would expect nothing less from fireworks scum.

I did laugh, however.

No, the fireworks mob will have someone blasting off every day. Sit down for a quiet Christmas dinner ... Blam blam blam. 3 a.m. and workday nights. The rudeness can be astonishing.

I had neighbors who would blast them off from the street. One night while they were doing so, my Aussie ran out the front door, and like a Marine she ran straight to the problem. She ran everyone back into the house. She tore into the fireworks. She wasn't having it.
