I haven't seen Nuss' mind catch up to the game. He has not shown that calm mastery of the pocket that Jayden and Burrow showed. But hey, those guys have Heisman trophies.

I don't think people remember Burrow's first season as a starter.

Burrow completed 57% of his passes on the season. His first 3 games vs Miami, SELA and Auburn he was averaging under 50% completions. He also had a 4 game stretch with 0 TDs vs 4 INTs and a pick six to end any chance to beat Florida. It wasn't until the last 4 games of the season that Burrow started to evolve into the future Heisman QB.
That was also with Jefferson, Chase, Marshall and CEH on the team, but they all hit another gear in 2019.

I don't think Nuss struggles that much early on, but I do think he will have growing pains as a first time starter.
