If he wins the natty this year, he coaches until 80. Just get used it.

Their fans act like they won the natty every year no matter what, so who cares?

Win or lose he’s not retiring.

He’ll most likely be there another 4 years

Hope they get curb stomped.

If he wins, he will want to defend it. They need to keep losing until he quits.

Why would Saban leave? He has every advantage imaginable, then when he fails, the media lifts him up again and gives him chances others will NEVER get.

No, LSU would NOT take Bama's place. I laugh at those that really and truly believe this. The SEC doesn't rig all these games for Bama for nothing.

He will win 2 more titles before he retires and that 1st one most likely happens this season.

Saban has already failed in the NFL. He won't go back. Unless he has a competitive advantage on and off the field, he is not successful.

The SEC, Bama, and the media give him the advantages he needs to be great.

In the NFL there are no second chances and no narrative changes when you fail. Rosters are fairly balanced with the salary cap in terms of talent. The list goes on.

He would never succeed there and he knows it.

I could not care less whether Saban retires. When LSU has a good team we'll beat Saban. If we don't have a contender it doesn't really matter if we beat them.

Things are slowly declining there. Just let it play out and enjoy watching the gumps melt in the meantime.

Decline?!?! LOL

They just had the SECCG rigged for them to win, then got yet another narrative change so they could back door into the playoffs AGAIN.

They are far from a decline. Bama is too big to fail.

The SEC isn't rigging all these games for nothing.

Why do people even post this kind of stuff on an LSU board.

I am pulling for Washington or Michigan, as we compete more for recruits with Texas and Bama.

I think the very worst thing that could happen relative to LSU is Texas winning it. And it’s a pretty big gap between that and the next worse, whatever that is. I think the best for LSU would be Washington winning. They’re the least threat of the 4 simply based on geography.

I’m not pulling for Bama by any means, but them winning again wouldn’t be the end of the world. Like somebody else mentioned, at this point, 6? 7? What’s the difference?

I’d rather LSU have a chance to beat saban and make him retire.
