I'd argue Hunt is the best local host we have.
The fact that you can't differentiate this
If LSU isn't in an NY6 or playoff game, I would love for the bowl game to be treated as your first Spring Game. Evaluate what you have and what you need. It's much more productive than beating Purdue by 60 points.
Of course I'd love to win, but Jayden Daniels (who I would love to see play and dominate) playing 4 quarters of this game does objectively nothing for LSU, the program, or the development of next year's team.

The biggest advantage of the bowl game is 15 extra practices. And to your point, I think the NCAA is leaning toward the spring game treatment by not making bowl games count toward the 4 game redshirt rule.

I NEVER want LSU to Lose, I care..
I know what he was talking about, I heard Hunt say he didn't really care if LSU lost the Bowl game or not. To be honest I certainly care if they do. It means momentum for the program and it adds somewhat to our History.
Plus all the extra practices helps going into next year.
I don't think he's the worst talk show host. He's pretty good. But I don't agree with all his takes and opinions.
