If nothing else, Warren Buffett is a renowned liberal who supports and is plugged into the DNC, albeit not a stupid man by any stretch, and so beyond the obvious economic conditions he sees before him, you have to wonder what he knows perhaps on the inside.

When devout liberals divest in their “strong economy” you know it’s bad.
I understand his concerns are real estate related, especially pertaining to BlackRock. There's talk of shorting a number of companies affiliated with BlackRock.

He would probably sell more than 10% of their holdings if it was that dire of a situation

10% of holdings can be liquidated in a reasonable amount of time while still getting market value.

You dump large numbers of shares for one company on the market at once, though, and you get pennies on the dollar because it is too much supply and not enough demand.

The real interest will be seeing where he puts that cash. Because, he’s not stupid enough to put that cash in the US dollar.

He's not stupid enough to earn a risk free 6% in a money market mutual fund?

Running around screaming “I made 6% guaranteed during a time when real inflation is about 10%”. Isn’t gonna get him new investors

That's why they have brokerage firms.

If he is sitting on that much cash then he plans on buying things cheap after the downturn/crash

These people are amoral capitalists, as they should be. Politics is just a game they play. They don’t have closely held political beliefs.

He’s set on money. He and his son spend a lot on causes. His son is also a reserve deputy. Interesting enough the same department had an election overturned but it went to the correct candidate after a year or so in court. My uncle was a LT there. Lots of people don’t like Howard either.
