Will not see the big screen in current form.

They will either re-shoot it to follow classic story or straight to D+. Even straight to D+ in current form is iffy.

They at least are using dwarves, although not real ones

Leslie Jones as the next Hulk should fix the problems and also give a good boost to the ESG score

You would think that would lead to a shareholder revolt.

I could actually see this movie working with a good self-aware script.

What I would do is have Leslie Jones be in all of the promotional materials so people think she’s The Hulk when she’s actually playing a villain that is incredibly level-headed, intelligent, calm, and refined.

The Hulk is played by Michael Cera. Everyone talks about how Cera’s character is this raging hothead Maverick who’s constantly on the verge of flying off the handle, a real loose cannon, and it’s just him channeling his bad boy persona from “Youth in Revolt”. “I mean, like, you wouldn’tlikemewhenI’mangry, or something you know?”

They'd have to essentially fire everyone current and start back over. Which don't get me wrong, that's what they should do. But it will come with a massive media hit about how stupid everyone involved is and has been,.

Can you imagine the serving of humble pie those egomaniacs would have to eat to do that? Funny thing, it would be that simple too.

With high enough cash on hand? You can… for a while.

The problem is that they are doubling down rather than correcting course.

I thought the Spiderman movies were Sony, not Disney?

They're market cap's dropped from $330b to $170b since 2020, so that's impressive.

those are all petty complicated because sony had the spiderman rights in perpetuity, but Disney owns Marvel which sold spiderman rights to sony.

i think the only way for Disney to fully own him and not do these spinoffs, would be for Disney to buy sony pictures, which i don't think will happen but they did get fox, so who knows.

True - "Wahmen Spiders" (aka Madame Web) is SSU not MCU.

I think main line Disney films coming out in 2024 are Inside Out 2, Deadpool and Mufasa.

Now apply this logic to Elon Musk and Donald Trump over the last year and recalculate your logic after you clear the splooge from your eyes. Yeah... but they say things we like!!

It's just my overall impression of the man from watching interviews over the years. I could be wrong, but he just doesn't strike me as a guy who's cool with losing a bunch of money (and potentially getting fired by the shareholders) for some "cause".
